Cookie Policy

    Last updated: 30th March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Deep Purple AI Consulting ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at deeppurple.ai.

    1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you use the site.

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by other services we use, such as our booking system).

    2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

    • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function properly, including security and booking functionality. These are permitted under the ePrivacy Directive without consent because they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested.
    • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

We only set analytics cookies if you give us your consent through our cookie banner. No analytics cookies or scripts are loaded before you give consent. Essential cookies are set automatically as they are necessary for the website to work.

    3. Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner asking for your consent. You can:

    • Accept All: We will set analytics cookies to help us improve the site.
    • Reject Non-Essential: We will only use essential cookies required for the site to work.
    • Manage: Opens a preferences panel where you can toggle individual cookie categories on or off. All non-essential categories are off by default. No boxes are pre-ticked.

The "Reject Non-Essential" option has equal prominence to the "Accept All" option on the banner.

    Changing Your Preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of our website, which will reopen the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also clear your browser cookies and revisit our site, which will show the cookie banner again.

If you withdraw consent for analytics cookies, we will stop tracking your activity going forward. This does not retroactively erase anonymised data that was collected while consent was active.

What happens when your consent expires

Your cookie preferences are stored for 9 months. After that, the cookie banner will reappear and ask for your consent again.

    4. Cookies We Use

    Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They are set in response to actions you take, such as setting your cookie preferences or using our booking system. These cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive because they are strictly necessary for the service.

    Analytics Cookies (Require Consent)

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. The information collected is used for statistical purposes only. These cookies are only set if you accept them via our cookie banner. No analytics scripts or cookies load before you give consent.

Advertising and Tracking Cookies (Not Currently Active)

We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce these in the future (such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag for advertising purposes), we will update this policy and they will only be activated after your explicit consent via our cookie banner.

    5. Email Tracking

Our email platform (Loops) uses tracking pixels in emails to measure whether emails are opened and whether links are clicked. These are tiny invisible images embedded in emails. They do not set cookies on your device or on our website. Email tracking data is stored by Loops against your contact record. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

    6. Technologies We Do Not Use

    For clarity:

    • Our online tools (such as the feasibility assessment, services finder, and grant eligibility checker) do not use local storage, session storage, or any other browser storage. All data is held in memory while you use the tool and is lost when you close the page.
    • We do not use any third-party fonts loaded from external servers. All fonts are self-hosted on our own domain.

    7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

    • See what cookies are stored and delete them individually
    • Block third-party cookies
    • Block all cookies
    • Delete all cookies when you close the browser

Here is how to manage cookies in popular browsers:

Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites.

    8. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects information such as:

    • Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
    • How you arrived at our site (such as from a search engine or a direct link)
    • Your general location (country or city level, not precise)
    • Device and browser information

This data is aggregated and pseudonymised. We use it to improve our website content and user experience. We do not use this data to identify individuals.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

    9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
